Dr. Dan Named an ABDSM Diplomate
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Dan Bruce has recently become an American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine (ABDSM) Diplomate. The ABDSM board is the leading organization for dentists who treat snoring and obstructive sleep apnea with oral appliance therapy. Earning Diplomate status from the ABDSM is a unique honor that recognizes special competency in dental sleep medicine. The examination by the ABDSM is currently the only certification examination recognized by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Certification is limited to a very small percentage of dentists across the country.
Dr. Bruce has successfully treated hundreds of patients with obstructive sleep apnea since he began practicing dental sleep medicine in 2007. Dr. Bruce also teaches courses about oral appliance therapy to physicians and dentists throughout the country.
