Childrens Dental Health
Good oral hygiene and regular dental care are essential for every child's overall well-being. Poor dental care can have devastating effects on kids. According to the California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, "untreated dental disease compromises the child’s ability to eat well, sleep well, and function well at home and at school. The unaesthetic nature of untreated dental decay compromises the child’s self-esteem and social development."
The aim of National Children's Dental Health Month is to spread the message about the importance of developing good oral health habits early. As part of NCDHM each year, our office participates in Give Kids A Smile which provides dental care free of charge for children in need.
